Berkeley Animal Hospital - Dr. Ruta Bandivadekar. Fecal PCR results: POSITIVE for hookworms and roundworms. Bacterial intestinal infection (Clostridium) confirmed. Metronidazole working well. Prescribed Panacur (Fenbendazole) deworming - 3 days. Recheck fecal in 5-7 days. Note: hookworms and roundworms are zoonotic.
